September started strong and luckily the weather is still nice, which I am sure we all love. Emilian started his last year of kindergarten and that was quite emotional for me. His last year of kindergarten, time flew since we came back from our trip around the Asian continent. How did it happen so fast? Next year he will be starting school and that makes me realize that the time is now and that we should be embracing every second of it. However, I don’t mean it a negative way…simply in a way that we should live the present and not miss out on any adventures, especially with kids.
At the office, everybody is finally back from their holidays, Tati just arrived back from Spain where she spent some time in the south of the country and in the north part of it, too. Pictures say it all.
As for the team, we attended several events in the past two weeks. One of them was the very expected and incredibly beloved opening of & Other Stories store in Vienna (Kärntner Straße 7). The store has 3 floors full of pretty products that you will fall in love with without a hint of a doubt. Go see for yourself.
Another event we attended was the Marionnaud’s presentation of the upcoming fall & winter innovations at the stunning Schönburg Palais. But we will tell you all about this event in the upcoming week…!

Next week we will be having our second team dinner at a well-known place where the mix of flavours is surely guaranteed – Stay tuned on stories!
In the meantime, between all the events and the “back to work” situation at the office, Emilian and I made it to… PRATER (once again!). This time we went together with other kids and enjoyed to the fullest. Four hours were enough to leave me KO. Can you feel me? Btw, if you are planning a day at the Prater with kids, here’s my little tip: Go between 12:30 and 15:00. Any time after that, the park will be super crowded!
After some activities with Emilian, it was also time for a girl’s night out. My friends and I attended a very beautiful exhibition by Martin Eiter at THE Chegini Boutique (Kohlmarkt 4/7). Afterwards, some drinks were needed and the best place to go to was obviously Zum Schwarzen Kameel in the first district. Tuesday night was simply perfect – Thank you girls!
Oh, and let me be honest to you: I am still a bit hangover of Kathrin’s and Steffi’s birthday bash this Saturday. What a great party. So happy to have you in my life (not the hangover part though) and to be part of such an amazing party. You girls rock. Happy birthday!!

Und los geht’s im September mit Schwung! Glücklicherweise immer noch bei herrlichem Sommerwetter. Und für Emilian hat das letzte Jahr im Kindergarten begonnen. Ich kann es kaum glauben – die Zeit vergeht (zu) schnell! Umso wichtiger aber, das Heute auszukosten, den Augenblick zu geniessen. Abenteuer – gerade auch mit Kindern – gehören dazu.
Tati ist zurück aus den Ferien in Spanien – wir sind wieder komplett. Und wir sind wieder unterwegs. So gingen wir zur Eröffnung von & Other Stories (Kärntner Strasse 7, mit unendlich vielen tollen Produkten auf drei Etagen), und im spektakulär schönen Palais Schönburg warfen wir einen Blick auf die Herbst- und Winterneuheiten von Marionnaud.
Mit Emilian und einigen anderen Kindern besuchte ich den Prater. Ein stets herrliches Erlebnis … aber nach vier Stunden war ich K.O. Könnt ihr euch’s vorstellen? Hier noch ein Tipp: Geht zwischen 12.30 und 15.00 Uhr – anschliessend ist der Prater rammelvoll.
Nicht vergessen darf ich den gelungenen Abend mit den Girls: Wir trafen uns zur geglückten Bilderausstellung von Martin Eiter in der DAS Chegini Boutique (Kohlmarkt 4/7); anschliessend ging’s ins „Zum Schwarzen Kameel“. Grandiosen (und feuchtfröhlichen) Abschluss der Woche bildete dann Kathrins und Steffis gemeinsam gefeierter Geburtstag: eine Super-Party (mit unvermeidbarem anschliessendem Hangover). Danke euch beiden!
Zum Schluss möchte ich euch noch hinweisen auf eine Ausstellung der Fotografin Christine Miess im Bildraum01 (Strauchgasse 2, bis 12. Oktober). Titel “Time collapsing” – Nicht verpassen!
