Monday Journal #6

Monday again, two weeks flew by in a blink of an eye. Emilian came back from Croatia where he spends one week with his grandparents and cousins every summer. Some children birthday parties here and there, like Emilian’s 5^th Spiderman-Princess party some days ago or my nephew’s 2-year birthday party on Friday afternoon. Oh! And a beautiful family get together on Saturday. The joy of spending some family time…But I must admit my sister had the greatest idea, using their pool for the first

first time while watching the Germany football match on a big screen under the stars – Very cool!

Apart from that, events, holiday bookings, packing and unpacking and of course work, a lot of it. In fact, we attended the Austrian Press Day last week … The whole aim of the Austrian Press Day is to bring all the bloggers, journalists and creative agencies together to offer them a sneak peek into all the new products their clients will be launching on the upcoming season Autumn/Winter 18/19. Exciting times ahead!     

In the meantime, we went to the Food Festival Event at MuseumsQuartier on Friday and made sure we visited the cool team from SalzburgMilch. However, I must admit that milk and yoghurt were not the only things that we tried, ahem. Did I already declare my love for burgers openly on the blog?

And if the Food Festival Event wasn’t enough, Lilly took the car and drove all the way to Linz on Saturday to keep on doing some food tasting … but not from casual food trucks this time. Lilly attended the Kulinari Jung Event in Axberg. A young, creative and modern way of getting the best tastes and dishes together served and cooked by some of the best chefs of the moment. For sure,  we won’t be letting Lilly go there by herself next time!

Tati, on the other hand, travelled to Switzerland, Genève to meet her Uruguayan friends who flew over from the South American continent for their “annual meeting”. But since they found Genève to be too small for 3 days, they jumped on one of the first buses heading to France and ended up in the beautiful city of Annecy in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. The city is a beautiful medieval-style French town that could easily be a movie set. Lucky me, I will be heading to France too in a couple of days…

Talking about travelling, funnily enough, I received a package that reminded me of all the packing tips I told about some weeks ago. The team from Foamie sent me one of their products. Shampoo Bar! The ideal product to take with you when travelling only with hand luggage. Thanks, Foamie team!

It looks like H&M and Love Stories have teamed up to create a fun and fashionable line of lingerie. According to my email, it will be available from the 9th of August in some of the H&M shops. Looking forward to seeing what this collaboration will look like!

Schon wieder Montag, und schon wieder sind zwei Wochen vorbei! Emilian kam zurück von seinem Kroatien-Urlaub, wo er jedes Jahr mit seinen Grosseltern und seiner Cousine eine Woche verbringt. Die ein oder andere (Geburtstags)Party wurden gefeiert – mein Neffe wurde zwei Jahre alt, Emilian schmiss eine Spiderman-Prinzessinnen-Party zu seinem 5. Geburtstag. Meine Schwester lud zu einer Garten-Party und einem Public Viewing WM-Fußballabend ein.

Was stand sonst so alles an? Wir nahmen bei den Austrian Press Day teil und erfuhren, mit welchen neuen Produkten in der Herbst/Winter-Saison 2018/19 zu rechnen ist. Es wird spannend werden – richtig coole Sachen werde ich euch zeigen! Wir besuchten das Food Festival im MuseumsQuartier und trafen dort auf die Milchbar von SalzburgMilch. Natürlich gab es beim Food Festival aber nicht nur Milch und Yogurt … Burger Alarm! Lilly reichte der Freitag im Food-Koma nicht und reiste zum Kulinari Jung Event nach Axberg bei Linz. Dort genoss sie kulinarische Köstlichkeiten, zubereitet von den aktuell angesagtesten Köchen.

Tati flog nach Genf, traf dort ihre Freunde aus Uruguay, und gemeinsam entdeckten sie nicht nur die zauberhafte Stadt am Lac Léman, sondern machten auch einen Ausflug in das nahegelegene Annecy – ein Juwel mit viel mittelalterlichem Charme.

Und wenn wir schon beim Reisen sind: Das Team von Foamie ist sehr aufmerksam und hat uns ein Produkt zugeschickt, das wir garantiert auf unseren nächsten Trips testen werden: Bar Shampoo. Danke, Foamie! Ein Tipp, den wir euch auch in unseren Hacks zum Kofferpacken vorgestellt haben. Absolut genial fürs Handgepäck … genauso wie die dressy Jumpsuits! Ob für den Strand oder einen herrlichen Sonnenuntergang, für ein romantisches Dinner in der Stadt, für eine durchtanzte Nacht auf Ibiza. Die Jumpsuits passen einfach zu jeder Gelegenheit und lassen sich super einfach kombinieren.

Zum Schluss: Es sieht so aus, als würden H&M und Love Stories zusammenspannen und eine lustige und sehr modische Unterwäsche-Kollektion lancieren. Am 9. August soll sie in ausgewählten H&M Läden in den Verkauf gelangen. Lassen wir uns überraschen!
